Thank you Chek Wun, Jen Heng, Wen Hann, Peiyun, Huimin and Jialin for the very wonderful birthday present(s) that you guys have pain-stakingly found for me. It really came as a wonderful surprise and nevermind its belated-ness, it was great nonetheless. I will definitely treasure the Hamtaro (as seen in this blog) like my precious and I can't wait to start using the 2008 calender next year. The specially made card which had contributions from Ruxin and Siwei as well was really interesting. Once again, thank you. You don't know how touch I really am.
I should also thank all those who have celebrated my birthday with me although it was eons again. How strange it is to go on a birthday high when it was more than 4 months ago. Thank you Chris Ho, Moira, Yijun, Ernest, Ray for the mango cake and the dinner at Crystal Jade. Thank you Joo Shiang for the mind intriguing puzzle (I still owe you a present). Thank you my CG mates for the HKU 120 Years Commemorative Book which I read very often. Thank you Teck Wee for the mini-cake cutting at the eastern hospital despite your busy schedule and all who has wished me in one way or another 4 months ago. I apologise for this back-dated entry.
How time flies.
O&G posting and I am enjoying it much more than paeds. O&G was in fact the very reason why I was inspired to do Medicine, bringing lives to this world and so on. Then again, the flip side is the amount of ethical issues that they have to deal with day in, day out. I guess, (edit) everything in medicine will have their own set of ethical issues to deal with. This posting is definitely one of the top on my list.
