Even though I thought I was very much the odd one out in the group of fellow-KTVers yesterday, I must admit that I enjoyed myself tremendously! haha! I did try to sing some mandarin songs but the bulk of what I sang was still very much Cantonese. Hope no one suffered from ear damage because of my singing. :-) We had porridge for dinner after that which I thought was rather novel. I never had porridge for dinner before! It was yummy nevertheless. Went home tired but very satisfied.
Somehow, because of the patho saga swirling in me, many thoughts flooded my minute brain recently. Mostly words from my teachers, some were disappointing while others were very encouraging.
My Biology tutor cum Civics tutor told me this on hearing that I got into medicine, "I think you will definitely struggle in medical school."
My physics tutor told me this when confronted by my fellow classmate on the prospect of me wanting to do medicine one day, during a rather non-vibrant physics lab session, "Of course I will trust him to operate on me."
