I really enjoyed this movie and I think this is the best show I have watched so far this year. In fact, this is the only show I have watched this year. Well, it is just the very beginning of 2007! haha!
Anyway, I am not sure if this movie has any basis of any sorts but I think it has successfully portrayed the Queen as one who cares so much for her family and a lady who is very wise, of course. The Prime Minister was also portrayed in the show, and there were quite numerous funny moments. I really wonder how they feel after they have watched the movie. That will be very interesting to find out but I guess we will never know.
The show actually brought back memories of the UK national anthem when I used to hear it quite often. That was the time before 1997. :-)

I only remembered the first stanza being sung though. Interesting!
