The trip was FANTAlabulous (Fanta is derived from one of my favourite staple drinks in the Iberian Penisula). I will always order that whereever we have our meals, "Fanta Naranja, por favor!" The people were very nice especially when you can mutter a few phrases of Portuguese or Spanish. Generally, the Portuguese are much nicer. Perhaps it is an Iberian culture thing to be warm and friendly. We learnt the Portuguese shrug along the way and it is very interesting to watch Fado (Portuguese), Flamenco (Spanish) and Bull fighting in the 2 countries. I must also add that the food is also extremely delicious and differente. From Bacalhau, Pastelaria in Portugal to Paellas and Tapas and Churros and Tortilla Espanola in Spain, there has never been a time that we were lacking of choice except for financial constraints. Well, we love Portugal and Spain and truly miss these 2 places. Well, I drank that Barcelona water from that Barcelona fountain and legend has it that people who drinks from it will return!
