"Overseas"

Managed to wake up to go India, the little one that is, today. No flights to catch, just the train! There was transit at Outram Park though. haha...Anyway, Little India is really like going overseas. It has its very own unique charm and I am glad the tropical island managed to preserve it.

Lunch was at Banana Leaf Apollo. The curry was extremely hot such that I have to gobble down 2 glasses of lime juice but I like that intensity! Lunch was very very delicious I must say! The Naans and tandoori chicken were very exotic. Food was served on a Banana Leaf and everything there was very Indian (think "overseas"). We went round Mustafa after that and could hear Indian music playing from every where. Really spent a good afternoon there! Thanks to Hu our tourguide and I and J for the invitation.

Paid a visit to the Art museum with pseudo-brudda and friend after the little india trip. Somehow, I find the art pieces displayed in SEA section of the museum very thought provoking. Other than that, we had great fun admiring the architecture of the museum itself. Met N along the way at Raffles City when the rest left for esplanade. Only managed to chat a little.

Dinner was near Art Museum with A, a friend who just came back recently from America. I guess everything is still very much the same and student exchange at Rome for A seemed very movie-like but exciting. haha...

Ended the day by attending Cantonese RCIA at Church of Saints Peter and Paul. It was my very first encounter and I really felt very comfortable there. I guess it has something to do with the language and the warmth of the people. Today was mainly self-intro but enjoyed it totally. Felt very blessed.

Indeed!
