Let me talk a little about Korean drama before I begin to ramble about today's happenings. Read a very interesting 10 page article on Yazhou Zhoukan today about how Korean drama. Yes! None other than those slow but tears inducing Korean drama is able to melt the tension between Korea and Japan.
Alright, examples of drama would include Stairway to Heaven! and Winter Sonata. What happen is that the Korean drama has been able to touch the hearts of millions of Japanese especially middle-aged women who often glue themselves to Bae Yong Jun. Isn't that great? The power of Media! If only Palestinian or Iraqi drama were that good. Then perhaps, there would be no war.
Had my Orchestra practice today. Yes, a Sunday! But it was enjoyable I guess. Most of the time I am there, I will be sweating away while making music in an air-conditioned room! I am surrounded by Wu Lin Gao Shou a.k.a Powerful people. But not today!
I know that I have improved when I realised that my senior never gave me any of those "You are out-of-tune" stare halfway during a piece. I know I have improved when my desk partner no longer poke me with his/her bow. I know that I have improved when I am not sweating! hahaha.....Well, there is still very much room for improvement! In fact a bungalow worth! Hopefully, I will get to go to Aberdeen too.
