Caught Constantine at the spur of the moment. I must say that I was saddened by a chain of events and that led to C and Y suggesting a long-awaited movie sacrificing their very own personal time and committments. I am thoroughly touched. Thoroughly!
Anyway, I felt Constantine was smashing despite violent objections by parties. Oh! I thought Constantine was very educational as a Medical Movie as well. I am not mad here okay! It is very medical! Here is why,
1) Some man after getting the Dagger of Destiny was able to be alived after being knocked down by the car. It was a bad hit. How did he survive? Not the Dagger of Destiny of course! We could observe clearly that he had lots of superficial veins protruding after the hit. That was Collateral Circulation! He survived.
2) When some character called Gabriel or Gabrielle was trying to put the knife into the tummy of the female lead to allow some monster to rule the world. She was careful in that she was about to make a proper incision. She was preparing to do a C-section. I guess she might become a gynae when she become a mortal.
3) Constantine wanted to end his life by cutting his wrist. Anatomy professors has told us SO many times that it doesn't work. Surprisingly, the devil knew just as well and advised him that he only got his tendons injured. That explained why he could not light up the lighter.
4) Constantine was diagnosed with final stage lung cancer. He was supposed to pass away at the end of the show. He did not! Why? He had a rapid lung tumour surgery when the devil stuck his hands into his rib cage. Notice carefully, it was below the 12th rib up! No vessels or nerves were damaged along the process.
All in all, Constantine was totally fictional as fictional as all my blabberings above.
