Dug out what I typed between 31st December 2003 and 1st Jan 2004. Shall do a closing for the Year 2004. Hmm, let me see what I have got for that posting exact posting, totally uncensored;
"2004.....@.@!!~~ YEAR OF CHANGE."
Looking back: I don't know why I put so many dots and funny faces in my entries then! haha
"The New Year is definitely a very exciting time for myself and I believe it is the case for the majority of the population. Mid-2004 will mark the end of term in 'office' for me as I proceed on with the transformation to a student, back again. However, pre-mid-2004 will pose an eminent challenge....which is the calling from the 'resort' island up north. I will have to pass it, and I believe that I can. I have to. Apart from the above three significant events, 2004 also mark my coming of age. Being, legally liable to decide on my citizenship, which has been a question in my head for several years. Is really a decision of a lifetime. hmm......I guess, time will tell."
Looking back: Calling back to the 'resort' up north yes! I fractured by poor little calcaneum there and everyone's guess is correct. I could not even stay longer than 3 weeks there. Oh well! Alright, as for the citizenship issue. I have decided and have already done the procedures. So, I proclaim myself as MBS (Macau-Born-Singaporean). Oh! I did mention coming of age as well! haha
"As for the hopes for the coming new year. I guess everyone hopes for the best, and me too. That whatever painful experiences that has brought us to fear, to suffer, will not repeat itself and that a rosy picture in all aspects can be easily painted. Really, I am gladly looking forward to 2004 where many changes for myself will be taking place. Of course, changes are inevitable and you cannot really list them down at this moment. Surely, there will be changes faced in our tiny nation as well."
Looking back: Sadly, before 2004 come to and end, disaster struck throughout half of Asia. No warning, no prevention, it came and swept. 2005 better be a better year! About changes, so I became a student. Many years of wishing upon HKU came into dust. Oh well at least I am very happy in school now and have made many new friends. Not forgetting learnt lots of interesting stuff that I hope to continue with. As for the friendship part, still waiting for the day that these friendships will blossom into heart-to-heart talk kind of thing. Shall wait and see.
"But most importantly, be happy and so the saying goes, Happy New Year!~ God Bless."
Forward to 2005:
I am ageing rapidly and I guess I have to accept that fact. 2005, I will be double 2. Never expected that day to actually come so soon. I mean, I was only 12 yesterday. Remembered when I was very young, I wanted to be a policeman/fireman at age 22. Before leaving HK, I told my teacher I wanted to teach in my ex-HK school at 22. I remembered that I wanted to join Star Search at 22 in a composition titled "Wo de Zi Yuan" in Primary 4. Oh, and I wanted to work in the tallest building at 22 that was another composition in Primary 5. Why 22? Don't ask me! Oh well, I have achieved none of them and became a medical student instead! haha
Oh well! As for New Year resolution. I seriously still hope for the same thing. That I hope for the best and people around the World will be happy deep from the heart.
As for me personally, I do not have much wishes except for staying optimistic and truly happy plus good health. So I shall end with an over-rated ending.
