Gosh! I sang Karaoke for the don't know how many millions of times this month. Alright, at a different location this time. I felt exploited toally having to pay two perfect red bills for just 3 hours of microphone blasting. But it was great fun for it was a cosy sing-along session with just 2 other JC classmates. It was cosy I should say.
As for dinner it was at Crystal Jade La Mian (Pulled Noodles) and Xiao Long Bao (Little Caged Buns). The numbers increased to 7 miraculously and we had a very hearty meal at a relatively low price. Sadly, I really thought the pulled noodles and little caged buns at Ding Tai Fung was much better. Juicer, more tender and meatier with good texture. Crystal Jade should really concentrate on Dim Sum rather than becoming schizophrenic.
Oh! Just in case I do not get to blog tomorrow, this is tomorrow's post written today to capture the excitement of Hong Kong!
Bidded farewell to Changi airport and family at 3pm. Everyone was crying! Oh Well! I will be back so it was okay! Food is not served on budget airlines so I got myself a Macdonalds Chicken Roll to keep my mouth company in the plane!
I must say that services were exceptional(they better be!) in the new Budget airline and had a free Christmas gift (please do give me one!) for being in one of their inaugural flights!
Landed punctually in Hong Kong at 1920! Was awed by the night sky of Hong Kong as usual! (I better get a window seat! And no haze!) Lights were dazzling from everywhere and I could really sense Christmas in Hong Kong. Managed to take some pictures at the airport (will post them if possible) and took the fast and efficient (no breakdown please!) airport express to Tsing Yi where I will spend time there.
Felt extremely welcomed and a sumptous dinner is now ready to be served (please do!) with full Hong Kong cuisine for it is Winter Solstice! Will have to start my shopping craze tomorrow and meet my friends (please be free!)!
