Cellular.

Yes, cellular. No, I am not referring to the new movie here but I received a surprise call on my cellular today! Mid-way while trying very hard to concentrate and understand the lectures on gastric secretions, there was a vibration. Nope, it was not from my friendly neighbours die-hard leg shaking habits but rather from my trustworthy Motorola Cellular.

Glared very hard at the screen and saw "Unknown Call". Sounds very much like the scene in cellular where the kidnapped woman made a call to a totally random person to save her from the meanies. Oh well, I thought I could get my feets up and start my own adventure to save Mr/Ms/Mrs/Dr/X or even someone's pet. Nevermind, that aside, it was actually a call from the land of the maple leaves! Wow!

Anyway, the lectures really makes me hungry especially when it is about gastric secretions. The more he talk the more HCL secretions I have due to the what-you-call-that Cephalic phase and so there was increased longing for food! Um, that is not the main point.

The main point is my friend whom I have not seen for many many months actually called me from the Land of the Maple Leaves! What a lovely surprise that made my day!

She mentioned something about snow and basement and blah. Everything I will never experience here. I mean, I have never seen snow or slept in a basement in the tropical island that I happen to reside in. If I did sleep in the basement, I must have been a very naughty boy such that people will dig a hole to call it basement for me to sleep in.

Well, snow made her think of her family and friends here. How nice! And I know the exact reason why she has got such a reaction! For we are suffering under this strange spell of weather with extreme rain conditions and extreme heat such that a moment ago I thought I was going to be a roasted chicken but now I thought I would be a drenched chicken. I must have been a schizophrenic chicken who cannot decide.

Nevermind, I guess she really have to miss us when she see the snow to know how envious we all are! sigh!~ We will all eagerly wait for your return somewhere in January and then we can decide weather we should be roasted or drenched.

Oh well, I am not thinking right.

Must be the Formalin again!
