Had a smashing time with my supposedly Anatomy coupled with OG group today at JP. We caught The Shark Tale and it was hilarious but felt it was not as good as Finding Nemo. I laughed and so did the rest. So was not me alone! Waiting for The Incredibles to be on screen. Hopefully it can live up to its name to be - Incredible.
So as usual after the movie, you tend to have a full bladder. Unfortunately, it was coupled with another call of business so I needed a private space with the full range of amenities present. To my despair, all the doors seemed tightly shut but I had this usual gut feeling that one might just be empty and began my quest my pushing each door slightly.
Until I reached one unlocked one. Relieved? No! Shocked? Yes!
I saw this unkempt man resting comfortably (seems like he has been there for a very long time) with a can of Nescafe hanging on the ledge and he was not clothed. He seem depressed with his face looking down. Doubt it was constipation. Anyway, that was only split seconds and I muttered apologies like a robot with only replies of "Grr, Hoff, Goof!"
I think he is homeless. And he is not alone.
Sad isn't it? In the affluent society that we have today, we still see homeless people having to spend the rest of their life in public places. Wandering everywhere and having no direction. They have nothing and nobody to depend on and most survive by begging. I have always believe that each of us has a role in the society no mater how big or small but I doubt this is actually a role in the society at all for there is no mission, no aim, no direction. You feel helpless for you don't seem to be able to help him. To make things worse;
