Playhouse 20-04.

Again for those who does not know what Playhouse is? It is actually the annual intra-fac play competition. Under the blessings of the Arts Faculty or is it Business, it was held at LT13 which I don't understand why? Maybe, it is because the chairs are creaky white lecture styled or maybe it is convenient for there were multiple doors for people to walk in and out with sudden intermittent broad day-light coming into the play atmosphere. Or maybe, it was just practical. Since plays are very artsy and LT13 and its surrounding has got THAT atmosphere.

Felt extremely unfortunate that I failed to carry with me any image capturing devices. Therefore only words can be seen. With nil, kosong, zero pictures available.

M1
The theme was totally of a different genre from the rest of the years. It was more of a commercial play where people will pay to watch some world-class drama group to perform. Must say that there was good chemistry (realised why I am not acting in it, seems that I will lack chemistry with them all, sadly!) between the actors and actresses. However, the play gets draggy along the way and finds it hard to build up. Must say that the actresses (both from my class) were absolutely fabulous! One even got an award! The rest were quite stiff except the Lieutenant and the Dr Spencer(which I don't really know their names). The latter was HILIARIOUSLY hiliarious!

Worth 3 Adenosine Triphosphates and 1 ADP! (Quite an Energy Booster!)

M2
Um. Thanks for the sleep.
Sorry, zero ATP. Maybe a AMP la! Appreciate the slight effort and actors for multi-tasking.

M3
Great! Fantastic! Fabulous! Very local kind of production! Characters has no links or relations yet were able to be pieced neatly into a coherent play. Costumes were very vibrant, conversations humorous. The pace was alright but at some points it gets a little messy. Overall it was a comedy play. Lacks substance though.

Since I like comedies. 4ATPs!!!

M4
Play with substance, humour, good actors/actresses, coherence, simplicty all in ONE! If you like 3 in 1 coffee or even beany coffee, either or, you will like this magnificient play! Meaning was well portrayed and simple to understand. Must say it is a very creative production as well. Can see everyone put in pains, blood and sweat in producing it despite their horrendous schedule. Not to forget its abrupt comics and witty lines! My personal favourite!

5 ATPs! (Maximum Energy Booster!)

M5
Most touching play. Everything about it is touching. From the way they reflected life as M1 all the way to M5 to the end slide show which portrayed the 5 years journey in medical school. Please do prepare tissue paper for this one! You need at least 5 boxes! One for each year portrayed! It was ended with a photo-taking of the um...M5 class. Very touching indeed. *tears* Wonder if my class will be like that 5 years down the road??!! Oh yah! And we can forget the gorgeous white chick wannabe?!! hahaha

4ATPS + 1 Tissue Paper + 1 Chicken Feather.

Hmm..... My first playhouse experience and I really love it. Was surprised that I stayed throughout even with the prospect that I have got no one to go home with! At least it satisfied my right brain totally!

Yah! And I took a bus all the way from NUS to Simei!

Can't wait for Playhouse 20-05 and hopefully, I may get to act! hahahaha!
