Not an economics student here but this is just in relation to the brain squashing lesson that I just had in the formalin infested castle. Had a new Prof today who creates magic. In fact he is that good that a portion of the left lung called the Lingula is named after him! hehe...
So what is there to do with demand and supply? Since my demand for the knowledge of the thorax was minimal due to the inexplicable insomnia that I suffer every Sunday night and with such a huge supply of information and big medical jargons bombarding, it will lead to a sudden brain switchh off! I will guess that the receptors has quit accepting neurotransmitters in the faculty of knowledge. Try it! And you will have a totally new experience in anatomy lessons!
Maybe, it can be explained simply with a mathematical formula.
Let S be any form of syndrome that hinders uptake of knowledge.
IO for Information Overload due to an over supply.
D for Demand.
SO for Switch Off.
Therefore we have,
S = -D ----- (1)
S + IO = SO -----(2)
By substituting S = -D into equaton 2, we have;
IO-D = -DO
Therefore, the Information Overload is subtracted with the cause due to demand as it is negligible here, since whether you demand or not, the Prof will still pour you with tonnes of knowledge! We get a negative ACTION in the form of DO where DO = MUG in the life of medical students! Which means that I have not been mugging thus the Information Overload experienced!!!!! Wow!! Everything explained!
