Hmm...my friend was right. I went to NUS feeling very sceptical but the first day at school proved otherwise. In fact, I was somewhat happy!
So how did things go? Read on, if you are interested! haha...
Okay. I was late for school. We were supposed to be there at like 0745 but we managed to reach there at 0815. Of course, there were others joining the late queue. Okay, I hate the seats at one corner at the back. There are so crampy and you cannot even move much! urgh!~ Anyway, the late occurence was not due to me....phew!~ it was due to a particular someone with a sudden urge to visit the toilet....so we missed the Dean's Opening Address. Anyway, don't think the whole morning overview was very essential to begin with...hmm.....
So there was the long break. Brought my camera and started taking photos, um....only took 4 because the rest do not seem very enthusiastic about photo taking. I mean, it is the first day of school it will be some long lasting memory right? haha.....Well, shall be contented with a meagre 4 photos but somehow I thought I look kind of distorted in them....nevermind.
Lectures in the afternoon was very funny. haha....think the lecturer was trying to be funny. He tried to emphasised the importance of First Aid and actually got actors from I don't know where to act an accident where a guy rolled down the stairs accidentally.
Of course, we were all shocked to witness that, but somehow, the guy seem to fine after that, so I guess it was just a show...right? Okay! this is not the interesting part, the most interesting part is the conversation that went between,
Guy rolled down the stairs,
Prof:"Oh! Be careful!"
Prof:"Bring him to the First Aid Centre, there is a doctor there!"
Helpers: "Okay"
Prof: "I am not a doctor now.....am lecturing."
Helpers bringing the guy down.
Prof: "Good riddance!"
The guy appeared to be walking very well after that! hmm.....
haha....I thought it was real. hmm...but i still think so. What do you think?
Anyway, I made no new friends today. Will see how tomorrow! Can't wait for NUSSO auditions! haha........
