Travelogue...The first 6 days.

28th June.
Departed for Hong Kong. JS sent me off with a Delifrance breakfast. Though I was at the airport quite early I was still nearly late for the flight to Hong Kong. YH offed her phone and GH did not pick it up at all. These two whom I was "supposed" to call. Sat next to a Japanese man who does not seem friendly at all. He slept through the whole flight and refused to eat...towards the end of the flight I could not take it anymore and needed the toilet. So, I had no choice but to wake him up. He looked angry..um...and moved to another seat far far away from me. Okay, I did not do ANYTHING to him except for that polite excuse me to the toilet....

Checked into the smallest hotel I have seen in my whole entire lifetime so far. There is no walking space and no mini bar. NOTHING. Not even a cupboard to store any clothes. Nevermind, since it is only for sleeping. So there you have it, the beginning of my Hong Kong Trip.

The first day was Kowloon Tour. Brought them (refers to Z,M and N) to the nerve centre of Kowloon, Nathan Road. Had concubine chicken noodles.....um......it was cheap though. Then it was Mongkok trendy fashion shopping centres. Some had restricted area selling THOSE VCD on the top floors. Of course, I was not adventurous enough to venture into those places. But the 3 of them did. haha....Following that was a trip down to Tsim Sha Tsui Promnade where they saw the "Symphony of Lights"....um....18 minutes of lights flashing from Victoria Harbour. It was the nothing-to-see Avenue of Stars followed by dinner at a Steamboat Restaurant. Remember, it is 37 degrees HERE! Anyway, the day ended at 1AM.

29th June.
Woke up at 0630 to Depart to Macau. Alright, this is my niche area. Visited Sands the new Las Vegas style casino in Macau. Z wanted to place his bets but found out it was too expensive. I was really impressed by the technology they use in the casino. haha...following that was Golden Lotus Square and a traditional chinese Dim Sum place where old people hang their birds in cages and view them while having Dim Sum. I mean pet Birds here...not others...then it was shopping. All of us are extremely pleased and amazed by the services that Macau can provide. A sales guy from Giordano ran after Z even though we have stepped out of the shop to offer him a tissue to wipe off his sweat. Everyone could switch to Mandarin or English alomost instantly. Fantastic RIGHT? We had so much food. After that was roasted pigeons, pig's ears and lovely desserts. Followed by more shopping and Macau Tower. To all 5566 fans out there, I saw one of the members at Macau Tower filming....hahaha...um...not impressive though. Anyway, had hi-tea on 60th floor of Macau tower and it was a revolving restuarant! haha....shopping resumed again and the day in Macau ended with a Portuguese Dinner which was espledour e fantastico......Do visit Macau sometime too! Guess what, just when u thought that the whole Macau was visited? NO! NEVER! haha...only less than 1/4 was visited. Left at 10pm.

30th June.
They went Shenzhen while I stayed in Hong Kong. Met up with my cousins and walked around Mongkok. Things especially electronics are very much cheaper here cos of the stiff competition. Anyway, brought them to Ladies Market that night and I bought an orange bag! So nice!~

1st July.
This is the day. 530,000 including myself and M,Z,N braved the heat to participate in the mass protest. I mean, you should try to experience something that is out of the box for the complete holiday experience right? So, we went for the 1st July protest. It was damn crowded but we all had fun taking photos! haha.....following that was shopping at Causeway Bay and we realised one thing common in HK shops, when you enter it goes,
"Harlow, blah blah blah 40% blah blah blah, Harlow! Harlow! The night ended again at Ladies Market and dessert at Hui Lao San. We went up the peak and see fireworks as well. The view will take your breath away!! It was marvellous and unbelievable!!!! The day ended at 2am. It was still like day time as people throng the streets...and shops are still open!!

2nd July.
Last day, brought them to Wong Tai Sin Temple and Esprit discount shop. Bought my first pink shirt there. Not to forget the orange Von Dutch Cap. It is like a trend to wear pink here. haha....Everything was rushy-whooshy, then it was Ladies Market again and desserts. Z,M, N then bid a sad farewell to Hong Kong. I moved to Tsing Yi.

3rd July.
Met my first ICQ friend from HKU today. Feeling was strange at first but 5 minutes later, we were laughing away. Took a photo and glad that my cantonese is not so bad after all.....Yup! That is it for the first 6 days....

Stay tune for more......

LIVE IT! LOVE IT! HONG KONG!
