Alright, I have to apologise to H but first, let me explain what exactly happened. I went to NUS today to endorse something and was on my way home with crutches and so on. As I overcome the slope of the Medical Drive, I saw NUH. Then I was thinking, since I am at NUH, might as well give a friend, H a call. And since she lives in the east and it was about 5pm, I decided to call her while waiting for the taxi if she wanted to join me or at least meet me...since I have not seen her for quite some time...hmm...
As I stood at a comfortable spot at the taxi stand, I made the dial....
Me: "Hello! Are you at NUH?"
H: "Yah!"
Me: "Um...I am at the NUH taxi stand."
.....pause....... H: "I don't intend to go home yet......"
Me: "Um, I called not to go home with you....."
.....pause...... H: "So, you want to meet up is it?"
Me: "Um......I called not to meet up...."
Me: "Um.....um...eh.......okay, you take care! see you!"
Got up the blue taxi.
What the rubbish? What was I doing? And my tone was not even half as pleasant as how I normally speak....I was a little rude...Oh my! What is wrong??
