Alright, I spend every night with Vampires nowadays...cos I just got myself Blackwood Farm, a book by Anne Rice. She actually wrote a whole series of The Vampire Chronicles. I really enjoy and like it, feels that everything is so in place, all the details will eventually lead to some clues about the mysteries of so and so.....it really brings the reader to the Vampire World, and I am stuck....haha.....for good.
Saturday was a great day. Had a mini-outing with my friends back in JC. Only met the Canada-bound friend for less than three minutes, but it was worthwhile to see her happy and well. We did nothing much actually, just that I was frantically searching everywhere for Anne Rice's books. I actually had this fascination started when I watched the 20/20 show from CNA one lazy afternoon. hahaha.....well, we had lunch at Yoshinoya, not very fantastic lunch....but I really have no idea where to eat on a Saturday afternoon......any suggestions? Besides, I was not exactly very hungry. We had a great time walking around Orchard Road and just when I thought that it was turning five, it was already seven in the evening! I was like, what happened to the sky!.....oops....yes....is night time already! how time flies, how happy time flies!~
Re-consideration.
I thought I was been drilled by a fellow work-mate in this dark room face-to-face today. I was doing my work and then we started talking, him facing me like what a police would do to a suspect. He started with, "Are you sure you wanted to be a Doctor all along?"....."Why?"...."Do you like Bio?", "then what do you like?"...."Do you know how life will be like?"......"You sure you really want to be a doctor?"......"You sure you have what it takes?"
Gosh! It was so tedious! All the questions were like sharp arrows peircing through my brain and heart....I had no solid answers to all of the above. I could not answer, but stutter at each question........I did not know what to say.....and he ended with,
"You better think again, now you have time, soon you have not."
hmm......I can't believe myself that I am still so unsettled at this moment in time. I mean, my would-be classmates have already finished their A-levels, and PROM....and I am still pondering at this very moment whether I have made the right choice.
