Did you watch the episode of Holland V today? I felt that Holland V is the only recent locally-produced drama serial that got me glued to the television from 7pm to 8pm daily. Well, I guess, though the storyline is a little bit exaggerating at times, but the drama really leads to a climax. Then, come the cut on the advertisements and at 8pm....really leave you hanging in the air. Okay, at least it left me hanging mid-way in the air. Really like it very much. Guess, it has the potential to even be a Asian long-run drama like the Kindred Spirit? hahaha........
Had my test today. Felt that I could have done much better. Realised that I made many stupid mistakes. Well, it is true that you can learn from all these stupid mistakes and correct yourself. But, it is sort of a life and death situation where any minor mistakes would lead to undesirable consequences. That is why I believe the passing mark is at 80%. Generally, I am able to excecute the overall procedures, but somehow, when it come to tiny, minor gritty details which are the most important, I missed 3 of them. First, was that I forgot to survey the surroundings and ask for the mechanism of injury. Then, was I forgot to remove the object tied to his hand, which will cause massive blood lost if not removed while administering it. Lastly, according to the examiner, the way I palpate the subject's abdomen would have caused several lacerations of the internal organs, such as livers etc, and may have caused internal bleeding.
So, you may say only 3 mistakes, but I really don't feel good about it. Felt that whatever I have studied or learnt might have gone to waste. Felt that perhaps this line was not my cup of tea. Was thinking if I should continue further. hai!~ really disappointed by myself at the test today. Shall wait for the results.....hai!~ Anyway, I guess everyone has their failure at times, and since it was just a test, so I guess what is important now is that I should learn from my mistakes and pick up my confidence again! I CAN DO IT!!
Well, just realised that one of my friends is now in Hongkong-Asia's World City. Oh yah!~ Have you seen the latest Hongkong Tourism Advertisement? Did it manage to capture your attention? Well, it did to me.....but I felt that the Istanbul Tourism Advertisement was better. It was really colourful and portray the city vividly. hmm......
