Guess I had quite a nice day today. Peace and calm. No tides, no typhoon.....nothing.
A friend of mine spoke about being successful today. Or rather, becoming successful. He mentioned that you have to overcome a major obstacle in life to chase that specific dream of yours and then you will be successful. Hmm....I agree that by overcoming an obstacle, you may have succeeded. However, I doubt the sustenance of such successes. He complains of me being sceptical all the while about him becoming rich and successful through reading "mind-powering" books and "inspirational" workshops. Well, sure he has garnered a huge fan club, but at least I know I do not belong to that group.
Call me conservative you may wish but I seriously believe that success comes with hard-work and is a step-by-step process and it takes patience plus a little bit of creativity, innovation and perhaps the right opportunity as well. I mean, these publishers or workshop instructors gets millions of audience each day and most of them, in fact all, will find them inspirational and will try to follow the foot-steps. But, how many succeeded? Was there a sudden surge of millionaires on the World Map? Maybe, I have not been following the Miilion Dollar Fan Club News close enough......haha.......I do still wish him all the best in his chase for his dream, but please be strong if this bubble dream were to burst like bubble gum smacked onto your face. hahaha!
I guess we should we should strive to be happy in life. And being happy is already an uphill task. But nevertheless, Cheer Up People!~
