Just when I almost forgot to update my blog....I realised that I do have a blog!..hmm...what am I talking about? Nevermind....
Had a very peaceful overnight work yesterday. No phone-calls, no disturbances, no early awakenings, and...no-no-no! The only yes is that it was peaceful and smooth sailing!~ hehehe......
Had lunch with my friends at PH, Tampines Mall, Tampines Central, Tampines New Town, Singapore. Had the 9.90 orleans delight rice-lovers' meal......well, I would say that it is not too bad a deal considering the price. However, my friends still feel that it is sub-standard....in many areas.....but, to me, I think it is acceptable lor! I mean, you don't expect great food and other accompaniment with 9.90. hmm.....it was alright la!
Before I met them for lunch, I went to a bookstore and a book caught my eye. You see, seldom books manage to catch my eyes but this time, some did! Is called "five people you meet in Heaven". It is a novel by the same author who wrote "tuesdays with morries" (or something similar). I think it is quite interesting from the title, and as i read on, it gets even more intersting lor. However, when I looked at the price, it cost a grand total of 29.12!! Why is it that books cost so expensive nowadays? WHY?
So I did not buy it.
Hmm......walked round and round after lunch. Sale after sale, shops after shops. Well, it was sort of aimless but I did buy groceries to make dumplings for tomorrow....hehehe.....then we turned left, right, centre and bid farewell.
