Had quite a good day today. Not that I am happy because of the usual monotony, I am happy because today is Mid-week! hahahahaah!! and tomorrow is Mid-Autumn Festival or Lantern Festival or Full Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival. No matter how you want to call it, it is still a festival tomorrow! haha!
There is a saying that say something like; "Moons in foreign lands are always rounder."
Sometimes, I guess it is because of the above saying that I ended up here. haha.....Well, not that I don't find the moon "rounder" here but I guess there is this factor of emotions toying me. Haha....Nevertheless, I have started to like it here about a year ago....and hopefully it can be sustained!.....
Realised that my lantern is spoilt.....better buy a new one tomorrow. Heard that there are new models that can play polyphonic music and switch many colours at one go. Hmm.....I am more traditional.....perhaps I will just get the simple Nemo one. Also, I can't wait to get my hands on the double yolk mooncakes.....Actually, all along, I thought that there was four yolks mooncake...but it seems that....I was just dreaming.....hahaha!!
Anyway, today is supposed to be the day you welcome the full moon. Saw the news about HK people sending up hot-air balloons to welcome the moon. Hmm.....I really don't know how to welcome the moon here....hahaha......any ideas?
Perhaps, I will just sing a song to welcome the Moon! hehe.....
