I have finally embarked on my 2 weeks vacation. Hmm....really think that 2 weeks is rather sufficient for a tired soul. Left at about 1030 from Changi Airport. Realised that I could actually see my house on the place and the whole stretch of East Coast. Was really a magnificient sight. Somehow, Stephanie's "One United People" came to my mind...haha...strange!~
Had a great inflight lunch comprised of Chicken Pasta in Musroom sauce followed by a slice of Black Forest cake for dessert. Hmm....the unfortunate thing is that there is this group of Chinese Men probably from China speaking loudly, making weird requests and strange noises. They were just sitting behind me....was disgusted throughout the flight. Did not dampen my spirits though!~
Landed on Aeroporto Internacional de Macau at 1412. Quite a shaky landing but overall it was still perfectly sound. While the plane is turning to the arrival area, I could actually see the whole of Macau's skyline including the Macau tower. So you see, Macau is kind of small...haha. Realised why it seems big even though it is factually small.....cos of the way the roads are built! You seem to be in a never ending maze such that the whole place seems magnified! Alright, mystery solved.
Had dinner at a restaurant that is famous for its Wanton noodles! Have u ever tried wanton with prawns? No right! Okay. I am not trying to be swaku here but each wanton actually has a GROWN prawn not those tiny shrimp! The whole bowl with 5 such wantons and a lot of noodles only cost MOP$12.50 (S$2.65)!! Was really full and satisfying! The noodles was bouncing in my mouth literally. haha......
Went shopping after that. Wanted to buy a new pair of sports shoes and as usual, the fickle minded me went into 7 shops and in the end still ended up with nothing. Shall try my luck in HK. At least, I bought 2 T-shirts. One actually has an imprint of the surnames of the HK officials in a chess set. Found it very interesting so got it as my first purchase for the trip.
Hmm....rather tired after walking for so long. Realised that people in Macau has changed...or have I become more Singaporean? hmm.......
