Woke up rather late today....but at least it was still the early part of the afternoon. Watched some TV programmes and then fell asleep again!~ Alright, I know I am supposed to be in a holiday. Hmm....at least I went out in the evening!~ haha
Saw numerous watches from a few shops at Avenida Horta e Costa. Had a tough time choosing the right one. Guess I will settle for one of those swatch watches I saw. It is in the Spring/Summer 2003 collection. Looks really nice, just that it has no back-light. At least, it has a shiny surface to compensate for it. haha....Wanted to buy some trousers and continued my search for a pair of sports shoes. In the end, I ended up with nothing as usual. I mean, there are still many days....shall take my time. What is the rush, right? Is a holiday!
Have been following the news lately on the release of the HKCEE results (similar to that of the Singapore O levels)..realised that it is truly a traumatic affair. It does not only involve the students, the teachers, the school staff, the parents and their pets or soft toys. In another words, it involves everybody. After the release of the result, you can actually see the students whom did not achieve satisfactory results running from schools to schools and their parents even helped to queue up. I guess it is really tormenting for a young soul to go through such an intensifying event. But, guess it is good to face harsh realities in life as well....rather than being sheltered all the way.
Alright, Real Madrid has arrived in HK. I am not a soccer fan, not even a quarter. Their arrival managed to over ride the initial headlines (HKCEE Results) in all big and small newspapers. Guess it is more refreshing that way. One, it will be able to cool down the atmosphere, Two, is something to look forward too. Even for the non-soccer fans...i mean it is a rare occasion.
About casinos, sorry...not going in...I believe in both feet on solid grounds and not buiding castles in the sky. I don't know whether one of my friends has actually finished his thought process.....nevertheless.....I am going to watch TV la.....haha...
