Hi.
Nothing really exciting today....as usual! Just realised that it is 7 more days to feriados!~!
I realised that I am not a very friendly person in terms of work. This fellow workman of mine actually thinks that I am bossing him around....showed me faces and stuff. Maybe I am too sensitive....but this is actually a feedback from another workman. I mean, if you decide to laze around and don't do anything....a gentle reminder of a day's agenda, will sure ensure that he does his work. He was actually an ocs fall out....perhaps he might be thinking...who is this small little fry ordering me around? telling me what to do? This brings me back to something i heard from a superior of mine that we are all products of the JC system. The JC system tends to churn out elites that are supposedly the top don't know how many % of the secondary cohort, according to him. That this group of people tend to have an elitist complex that do not exactly look highly upon the rest of his peers. This product weaken at any shortfall and snubs at anyone not as academically endowed as him. When he does not get what he wants or does not become what he expects himself to be, he will insist on his principles and theories and sulk. Rigidity. Some even sink into depression as they continue to search for the missing link. Personally, as part of the product....I don't really agree with his theory as most of my friends are not like that. At least, I know I am not like that most of the time. Perhaps, is just the minority that keeps knocking on his door.
I came across this term "classmate fren"...somewhere....and i do not really like this term coined by someone. Perhaps due to my lack of comprehension skills, I tend to feel that this term is kind of degradatory to the personnel involved. Classmate is a person who belongs to the same class as you....is kind of fated that you will be studying with this guy for a period of time. No choice is given. Friend is a person whom you met and find that he can listen to you and share your happiness and troubles. Always be there for you when you need a listening ear or a helping hand. But......classmate fren.....hmm.....it sounds like....this person has become your mandatory fren. As in, you had no choice to end up in the same class as this person and yet you need to find someone within that class to fulfil the qualities and functions of a fren, so you have no choice....and reluctantly, accept that person as your fren. I don't really like this term, you may not agree...just a personal opinion.
Well, I often see a funny phenomenon when boarding up the bus. People tend to keep squeezing up the entrance even though they know that other people next to them are boarding as well......it leads to messiness and displeasure. I mean, after a hard day's work...you will definitely want a very comfortable ride home right? Maybe it is due to the kind of competitive culture we are in......always vying for No.1 or something similar. I guess this is called the tiny nation phenomena where everyone just ask for survival.
Hmm......7 more days to feriados! I am sure looking forward to a well deserved break! haahahahahahahah!!!!!
