CSFC (Clinical Skills Foundation Course) was thought to be a rather long period of 6 weeks. Strangely, 6 weeks seems short afterall. I actually don't quite recall what I have done in these 6 weeks except for what a typical student would do. Perhaps, a little lesser of a typical student. At least, all I hope to come out of these 6 weeks is more to establish rapport with people I try to talk to and perhaps perform simple physical examination. Nothing very much of note. If my Prof ever reads this, he will have killed me for this is not the way he wants us to present. In the world of presentation, there is only yes or no and very short, teeny weeny sentences.
The test is tomorrow for Surgery and unknown for Medicine. Following that, will be OSCEs on Friday which is very much like a funfair where you move stations by stations. No prizes to win though.
What else have I done in these 6 weeks? I managed to watch 4 movies! haha! Mission Impossible 3, Over the Hedge, Da Vinci Code and X-men 3. I would very much like to write lots about these movies but unfortunately, to fulfil my blog's title that this will be a little update, I shall write nothing, perhaps rank the movies in order of preference;
1) Over the Hedge. The little animals are really very cute. My favourite is RJ, surprisingly. 2) Mission Impossible 3. 3) X-Men 3. 4) Da Vinci Code. Why distortion of a religion to be a theme of a commercial book and film?
I am flying this Sunday. The fact that I am really flying this Sunday just hit me today after I bought my backpack. The excitement has not arrived yet because I am still very bothered by the impending tests that are about to happen.
In summary,
Spain and Portugal. 17 days. 11 cities. 7 people+1.
