The movie was very satisfying. All the dance moves, morals and values behind the show is really worth every dollar and cents. Like what my friend, C, said, it reminded him of Sister Act where youngsters learn to sing. Well, take the lead was actually based on a true story and ballroom dancing really did change the lives of many of the young people as portrayed in the show. In ballroom dancing, we are taught to trust our partner and to do that, we have to trust ourselves and with that we can build on a vision. haha...Go catch it!
I was supposed to do relief teaching at the alma mater on the day of the Sengkang and Punggol (S&P) trip but said no and made way for the trip instead. Sort of regretted it because I was not awaken in the morning and the drowsy me did not manage to remember that the trip starts rather late in the afternoon. Oh well! Anyway, I just realised that the alma mater likes to speak in Chinese over the phone. The heart warming greeting always go, "Wei, Hai Xing" or "Wei, Hai Xing Fu Xiao", depending on which section of the school you called. Billingual I guess.
