I am forever dumb, should learn my lesson soon. Not too long ago, I remembered myself being bluffed off money by some chinese ladies lurking around some MRT station, I gave in because they said they were hungry and lost. I should have brought them to the police station then.
Nevermind, about today. I was a survey boy not too long ago so I understand the sweat and tireness a survey boy has to undergo. Anyway, so near my MRT station a particular survey girl approached me to fill up a form. Having been through the same ordeal, I agreed.
As I continue to fill the form, I realised it is a sales tactic to sell some products. The survey girl at that point started rattlig off the goodness of the products and at a particular juncture said,
Surveyor: You have parents and children? This is good for them. Me: I am only a student. Surveyor: So you are 18? Me: No. Surveyor: Nevermind, we can contact your parents to tell them about the product. Me: I doubt they are interested. Surveyor: So when can we call? Me: I don't think we are interested. Surveyor: When is it convenient? Surveyor: Can you tick yes? (To indicate I am interested) Me: Uh... Surveyor: Can I change it for you? Me: Uh...
I tried my very best to write illegibly my contact number and address in the form. I had the intention to fake my details but I just could not do so. Don't ask me why I even did that, I really feel dumb after the whole thing. I am going to reject whatever dubious calls and have warned my family about this.
If they ever deliver something I will, I will not open the door!
