Caught the movie The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy ith R and C. It was a very funny British out-of-the-world British styled comedy. In fact, it was really out of the world. The sad thing about the show is that, there were many little parts that is hard to understand if you have not read the book prior to the movie. Anyway, I encourage everyone to watch for a good laugh but comparatively, Madagascar was really much more laughable than Hitchhiker. Perhaps, language barrier???
The highlight is the Hitchhiker's Guide to Gluttons Bay behind the Esplanade! Please be warned that the food is slightly more expensive than most Hawker fare that you will encounter. We had a spread of 4 varieties. Namely Fried Oyster, Carrot cake, Hokkin Mee and Stingray. Must say that the food is not exactly very fantastic but I guess it was because of the fact that we were one of the first few, so the cook hasn't warmed up yet or perhaps is due to my Pearl River Delta Taste Buds.
We said bye to C and welcomed J and J! Had desserts at Marina Square food court while they narrated about their exciting adventures in Shanghai! They really made me want to visit there someday! So it was Gluttons Bay again after desserts! haha...I tried their Noodles..in the end I actually had 2 dinners! Oh my! We paid a visit to the Merlion since we were so full and practically just chatted and snapped pictures.
