Today was absolutely food galore with my family. I guess, it was more of an adventurous food galore. Started lunch with the new Crystal Jade Macau cafe restaurant at Bugis Junction. Is a must try!! Felt that the food is considered authentic, all of them! The sauces for the baked spaghetti was very Macanese. However, the desserts lack varieties. Very nostalgic feeling since they joint all the food items with places in Macau. The pork chop bun has a promotional price at only $2.80. So, if you want a taste of Macau but have not been there, you should give it a try!!
Dinner was at the Turtle Soup Seafood restaurant off Guillemard Road. The turtle here refers to San Rui, the ones you get for the chinese herbal jelly, but that is just the powdered shell made into black jelly. Anyway, the turtle soup was very herbal, as in, full of different herbs. The meat tasted like chicken and the shell, very much like jelly. The soup was very delicious actually. For first-timers, you might want to think it is chicken soup to prevent any imagery displeasure. Overall, the place was streaming with a lot of customers!! So, it is really good!
