Soda.

A particular X cafe in the heart of the faculty sells soda. I never really knew what soda is so I did not really pay particular attention to it.

Thought most cafe would have Coke Float which is a scoop of Ice-cream on a glass of Coca-cola. Strangely, the cafe claimed that do not have coke float but just soda float.

Me: "Do you have coke float?"
Waiter: "No! Only soda float!"
Me: "What is soda float?"
Waiter: "Ice cream on soda."
Me: "Okay, I will have that then." (Pretending to know what a soda is.)

In the end, I got Coke float. So does it mean that Soda = Coke?

On a separate occasion, a friend K was supposed to have a free soda from the same cafe with a meal purchased. K ordered and got a glass of coke as well.

So, does Soda = Coke?

I wonder....
