I thought it might be nice to bring my friend who is studying in China to attend a lecture today so there can be exchange of views and find out new things. Sadly, it turned bad and I am totally disturbed by what happened.
I guess my friend was nice to show us the pictures he took while studying there and at the same time a few videos about his friends in China. Alright, I confess that it is wrong to do so in a lecture for I was disturbing my fellow classmates as well as paying no respect to the lecturer. I really do feel bad about it and hope to learn from the mistake.
I must say that the worst part was the sudden loud laughter triggered by one of the videos. I totally forgot that I was actually in a lecture and was too engrossed in how one of his African friends is able to speak such impeccable Mandarin. Was told that quite a number of fellow classmates stared at me with anger and hostility. I got a scolding from the lecturer as well.
I seriously hope that they can accept my deepest apologies and I shall not commit such a lecture etiquette fauz pas again.
I think I am just a himbo and blockhead. No one will ever take me seriously.
