I managed to dig out my Sec 1/2 Composition scripts..haha..just felt like sharing it, uncensored and uncut. Have a good laugh. So here goes,
Q1) Write a story in which a person gets his just desserts.
"I used to have a classmate, Johnny. He was from the United States of America. People over there love playing jokes on other people and he was one of them.
I guessed he had got the habit when he was in America and he could not possibly stop it right now. So far, about half of the school's population were victims of him and I am one of them. I always wanted to take my revenge but he would know all my plans. Until now, I still have not played a joke on him but two years back, when we were in Primary Six, he got his just desserts.
One fine day, I got a very strange feeling that I am going to be very happy. When everyone were assembled in the hall, I smelled something smelly from Johnny's bag. I thought it was some kind of American food in his lunch box and I took no notice of it.
During recess time, I saw him running straight to the carpark with something fishy in his hands and I followed him. Little did I know that he was trying to play a joke on me.
When I knew what was in his hands, it was too late. He had already thrown the dead rat at me but it did not hit me. Instead, it landed straight on the principal's face. Upon seeing this, I heaved a sign of relief.
He was then sent to the hall for a public caning. His offence was playing jokes on the innocents. After he was caned by the principal two times, the whole school cheered especially our class. For him, he ran out of the hall to hide his embarrassment but he gave me an eerie smile.
I have not seen him for about two years but I remembered when we got our PSLE results, he threw a rubber cockroach at me. Perhaps, this is his family inheritance which cannot be changed."
