Had a treat at Haagen Daaz today. Had fondue. You know? The chocolate steamboat thingy. It was so heavenly, so delicious, so fattening....urgh. Yes! I know I am heading north next Wednesday, but....i just had to spoil myself before I go in! haha.....You dip the different flavours of ice cream to this central bowl of warm chocolate using a special fork....wow....yummY! You get to dip different types of fruits in too! hahah.....is just so.....tempting!
Tried to read a chapter of Anatomy today....because I realised that the books are left hanging on my table for a couple of weeks already. Thought I was actually reading French words! My tongue kept twisting and tying knots. Is just so difficult to pronounce the terms. Imagine having to memorise all of them! This is madness! Totally! wonder how TW and YW does it. Gosh! is like learning a new language all together!!! I will never touch those books before school opens! urgh!
Come to think about it, think it is not too bad a idea to study in NUS after all. Next year, is its centennial! 100 years! There will be lots of activities and stuff. Besides, they are going to have this high table dinner thing annually which is what they practice in HK....haha....also, there is lots of friends here to help each other out when in need, especially when all of us is starting out on something so remote. There will also be no problems in terms of adjustment and culture shocks. BUT...i still live the HK dream...maybe...in the later years. SEP in year 4?
Hmm......the taste of the chocolate is still lingering in my mouth. Fondue! What a nice name!~ haha.......
