Yesterday was the happiest day of my life in the greens. Never expected a lot of things to have happened but they did. Perhaps, it is just the usual routine kind of thing. hmm...though I will return after the training up north for a couple of days. It was still my last "working" day before I enter that island. Had a lot of fun...haha.....
Felt extremely appreciated yesterday with words of gratitude pouring from the floor to the upper ground. Never expected such words to be heard from my ears....haha....Um...I guess such words are always said to people who are about to leave the force. Nevertheless, it was really nice and I shall take it as words straight from their heart. Never felt so flattered before....hahahaha.....
The most memorable phrase/sentence was,"Seriously, I think you have contributed a lot to X department. If you were not going for the course, I would have wanted you to do one more thing where you can learn about the social aspects of medicine."
Most of my friends and fellow colleagues felt it was an arrow. However, I prefer to see it in a more positive light. It is actually a very good opportunity for me to learn and be up close with the patients.....but....too bad. No fate.
Um....lunch and dinner were a treat from two different groups. Had pizza for lunch and lemongrass thai food for dinner. Never expected such a treat as it was all decided on that day itself. Took pictures everywhere and talked a lot. I thought such treats would be quite awkard due to communication lapses. It turned out to be very entertaining afterall....hehe...still waiting for one more treat coming soon....haha.....
I will definitely miss this place plus each and everyone that is part of this place when I undergo the dreadful training up north. I believe that it was really a good training ground for me not only to become a better person but to find out whether the career that I have chosen is really for me. Well, I just hope that no mishap will happen during this period of time and that no one will have to visit me at the hospital again.
This marked yet another chapter closed in my life.....hmm........
Anyway, it is just 8 weeks. It will very soon be over. Really!
