Boa Noite!~ ^o^

Macau Grand Prix celebrates its 50th Anniversary. Though it is a Formula 3 circuit, it was through the Macau Grand Prix that churned out many great Formula 1 racers like, Michael Schumacher. hmm....Macau Grand Prix follows the Guia circuit...which goes round the Guia Hill....with sudden twisty bends, making it extremely challenging. It is said that the scenic view of the Guia circuit is as famous as its challenging streets. This annual event is also the longest running international street race in the World, according to CNA news. Wow!! I have always wanted to watch it live....but it is always held in November, so....no chance!~ hopefully...someday...i will!~

The HK government is going to slash tertiary education spending by more than 10% due to the burgeoning budget deficit the government is facing. As I watched the news, I see angry students rallying the rest of the students to protest against the government by not attending lessons....even some of the academics are supporting this movement.

As one angry University Union President said,
"What kind of attitude are they (the government) trying to show? Cut spending and yet do not want to tell us face to face! If we do not reach a consensus next week (with the Financial Secretary), we will continue with our protest!"

Wow, what an angry young man! Not only are the 8 student unions able to meet the Financial Secretary (equivalent to the Minister for Finance here), they are able to discuss and voice out their views.......hmm.....interesting right? I guess if the government here were to cut some percentage in university spending, students might not even know! Or maybe, they do not really care....hmm..at most, a hundred or two students on internet forum expressing their views? Maybe, that is all?

Guess, is the culture.....hmm....

Terrible headache...better go and sleep! nitez!

Interesting medical fact: About 10-15% of people suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder develop full blown schizophrenia.
