Had lunch with a friend yesterday. Went all the way to Mandai just to have a meal with the company of someone. Always find it strange to have meals alone...but yesterday made me realised that, I have been more like forcing people to have meals with me rather than people willingly having meals with me. Pleaded to 26 people for lunch yesterday as I scrolled down my list, all 26 rejected. Either have birthday parties, or personal committments. That is beside the point, I mean, you have something on, it is alright.
However, I realised that never a time, has someone actually asked me out for lunch. Never. Perhaps, I am a very irritating person, who talks nothing but rubbish and then laugh like nobody's business, thus causing embarrassment? perhaps so...
The last time someone actually asked me out was a class outing. No one has ever asked me out for other forms of activities unless I be the initiation party. And most of the time, the other person seem to have agreed reluctantly...
Nevertheless, thanks to Mandai friend for an accompaniment of a meal.
