I really love today's kind of weather. Is windy, it is raining not too heavily and the clouds are there. So not much sun. Very pleasant...In fact, it could have been better without the rain! But.....it is good enough!~ haha....
Walked to the workplace in the morning with a friendl. Feltt that it was a really very slow walk but I really enjoyed the breeze and the gentle droplets of rain on my face! haha......
hmm...as usual, monotony sets in....and everything is more or less the same.
Watched the news and realised that Typhoon "Dujuan" is moving rapidly, Northwesterly, towards Hongkong and Macau. Or should I say the Southern cities of China. At this point of time, both the HK and Macau Observatories have activated the Grade EightTyphoon warning signal. Possibility of the grade going higher to the maximum of ten is highly possible.
Remember the last time I rexperienced a typhoon was in 1999. I was in Hongkong/Macau then, for a holiday. it was Grade 3 typhoon when I saw the warning signal. Remembered vividly that my umbrella was blown away even though it was only grade 3.
So, I guess you can actually imagine how Grade Eight Typhoon will be like?
All schools, Government offices, Stock Exchange, Public Utilities and closed. Flights and Maritime activities are also affected with many cancelled.
Maybe, it will change its direction like the other time! haha......
Just as I was typing this, a HK friend ICQed me, and informed me that the Typhoon in HK is now Grade 9!!!!
10 minutes after I typed this, my Macau friend ICQed me and told me that Macau news flashed;
<"Dujuan" has arrived!>
