Decided to present the activities in chronological order.....here goes;
0800 - Reported at DPH for community service. Cleaned walls and washed floors, had a bit of refreshments which tasted fine, heard some talks and the whole activity ended up with a massive photo-taking session. Also messaged T to see if he is free for lunch, he had something on so........had another plan;
1045 - After community service, my friend and I decided to go Bowling at Marina Square. Realised that I have not bowled for a very long time (apart from the cheap bowling thrill in China), was so excited about the trip......Walked past TTSH to get to the nearest MRT station and had a temperature check there as well. TTSH was awkardly quiet....perhaps is a Saturday....I guess.
1110 - Reached Cityhall MRT station. Somehow, I just forgot that you can walk up Citylink Mall halfway to get to Marina Square. So, we walked all the way to Suntec City and then cross the Second Level Bridge through the convention and exhibition centre to get there. After which, I just realised that we could actually took the easier route and reached faster but my friend who knew it, kept quiet...........cos we were not in a hurry. haha......
1150 - Decided to settle down and Bowl two games. Somehow, the bowling balls were wet, perhaps they were just cleaned....did not manage to break my personal best today, in fact, I felt that there were no luck at all as most of hits left one pin behind and my second go will never get that single pin down! urgh!!!
1235 - Saw a mini car roadshow by Skoda at Marina Square. Skoda is this car-maker from Czech republic. Realised that cars are really expensive and I really wonder how did they manage to get the 4 cars into Marina Square......hmm........
1240 - Went to eat at Long Johns' as I wanted to try the new don't know what 3 types combo. Was pleasantly surprised to meet 2 groups of VJ people sitting on my left and right. Of course, I did not speak a single word cos I only saw them before and yah.....haha......The combo was quite nice.....but felt that the calamari was not good enough. Could be better!!
1245 - Received a SMS invitation from a friend to watch Pirates of the Caribbean, in the end, realised that only 2 people are going.....so decided not to. Anyway, was not interested about the show to begin with.
1305 - My friend met his former RI friend, X whom I felt was from VJ. He chatted with him while I stood aside, eh.......smiling. His friend turned Right while we turned Left.
1310 - My friend wanted to know more about the books written by "Jimi" (the famed author who write Turn Left, Turn Right). So I decided to bring him to Bugis since he was going there as well. Somehow, we passed by this quaint little bookshop along the way and found his books! haha.......Kino was in my mind actually. He seemed quite impressed by the books but did not buy any.
1320 - Went our ways at Bugis Junction. Was planning to go home but then, decided to call another friend to see if she wants to sing Karaoke. Sudden urge lah! haha....Found out that she was having a mini gathering with a group of VJ people made up of an assortment of boys and girls, young and old, tall and short, and I did not know 2 of them. Eh.....but I still went to meet them! haha.......
1325 - U-turned from Bugis back to Citylink Mall. The KTV group was at Nooch.
1340 - I walked quite slowly. Saw them at this far end table and went forward....and Guess what!! I met X again! Told you he was from VJ! So now, he knows me and I know him! haha.....what a gigantic coincidence. I also met people whom I have not seen for centuries......haha......See....it is really true that 2 parallel lines may meet one day especially when the place is so small!!!
1344 - Ordered a drink called Raw Vision or something similar. Is a mixture of carrot, cumcumber, and many other vegetables.......haha......Taste.....uh.....difficult. Cos, many tastes were involved. My taste buds really had a hard time trying to figure out all the tastes.
1430 - Finally, we decided to proceed on with the long awaited KTV programme. We chose K Box at Marine Parade.....eh..cos it is new and relatively cheaper.....haha.....
1440 - I was walking with H but decided that I could not talk to her after a while and walked with other people. I thought I liked H but somehow, realised today that I might not even know what liking people is and that she is not what I really think of. hmm........guess, I am too young and naive la! hahahah......
1505 - On bus number 196. Had a conversation with one of the KTV people and found out that one of the classmate who went back to study in HK was regretting his decision as he felt that culture shock and did not manage to mix very well with the people there. This brought me back to another HK friend whom mentioned that she would return to Singapore after graduation from HK as she finds HK too complicated…hmm….set myself thinking about my own road as well...…hmm...........
1530 - Finally reached K Box....had the K Student pricing and started singing. I think I sang a total of eh.....at least 12 songs throughout the 3.5 hours of massive KTV session. Alright, I did not hog the mike! I did not, okay! Sang a repertoire of songs sang by the usual people, Joey, Miriam, Eason and Stephanie. I also sang a song by Twins, Edison, Harlem, Jay and others. Sang Shou Qian Shou.....very touching....hehehe
1730 - A friend called to see if I was still going to play Badminton with him and his friends....cos I was too engrossed with singing, decided to not to go......hmm.......can play another time right? yah!
1900 - Billed and bid each other goodbye. Proceed home, feeling tired but realised that I really had a satisfying day today!
2000 - Talked to JS on my way home walking and realised that he is going for course soon. hahaha.........hope everything will be alright for him.
2010 - hmm....decided to run today and YES! I did ran......at least 2.4km okay! Guess what, I also went on to step into the gym that I have not been into since I moved in 6 years ago for the first time! haha......did some simple exercises for 10 minutes and left. haha.......new experience! Also felt happier hahah….perhaps due to the increased secretion of serotonin…..
2100 - Logged online and realised that I cannot access my blog and blogger. URGH!!!!
2315 - Conclude that today was a toally satisfying solid day!!! hahahahahahaha!!!
